Officer Omar Edwards R.I.P. ..Another victim of racial profiling by his fellow brethen NYPD?

Shot like a dog, Omar Edwards deserved better.
By Abba A. Onyeani

Officer Edwards did not have a chance that day he was shot. He is a black man running down the street with his gun drawn. Was he looked at in a certain way..maybe he was looked at the same way that Diallo was looked at or Dorismond? What will the excuse be this time from the NYPD? This is one of your own. What is the excuse that a black man running down the street can be nothing else but a criminal. The NYPD has become the antithesis of "Protect and Serve". Someone please tell the woman and young babies in these photos that the world will change one day.

Spectacular Responds 2 Strip Video

Here is the response we've all been waiting for from Spectacular of Pretty Ricky. Spec wants to know why guys actually watched his strip tease video.....and the only response I can think of is no one knew you were going to back up from the camera wearing some Victoria's secret drawls on!!! And if I'm not mistaken......weren't you calling out some young brothas very prominent in this industry? Were you not calling out names to see who can grind the best? Don't they have to see what you are working with in order to do battle?..........at least that's what I've always been told. But enough of that and listen to Spec below:

Checkin My Fresh by Kia Shine

Where the hell has Kia Shine been? And better yet, do you really care? Well, nevertheless, Kia Shine has come out with a new joint called "Checkin My Fresh" featuring Young Dro and Maino. To be honest with you guys, if it wasn't for Maino this song wouldn't even have been on MTV! And in my opinion the only one who tore the track up was Maino. Although Young Dro gave it some down south flava....the song did nothing for me. What does the song do for you? Would love to hear about it....but for now check out the video for yourselves below:

By the way, what the hell is up with half of his head chopped down to a ceasar and the rest in some busted ass dreads? Not the business Kia!! I know someone who was supposed to do an interview with Kia Shine and decided at the last minute he didn't want to do it. The person stated Kia Shine just had this vibe about him and he wanted no parts of it. I guess in some sort of way I'm getting that vibe as well!

Tyson's Daughter Update

I'm sorry to report that Mike Tyson's 4 year old daughter, Exodus, has passed away earlier today. Here is the article according to Fan House below:

PHOENIX (May 26) - The 4-year-old daughter of boxer Mike Tyson died at a hospital on Tuesday, a day her neck apparently got caught in a treadmill cord at her Phoenix home, police said.

Exodus Tyson had been on life support and police have said their investigation showed her injury on Monday was a "tragic accident."

"There are no words to describe the tragic loss of our beloved Exodus," the family said in a statement. "We ask you now to please respect our need at this very difficult time for privacy to grieve and try to help each other heal."

Police said Exodus either slipped or put her head in the loop of a cord hanging under the console. Her 7-year-old brother found her and told their mother. She took Exodus off the cord, called police and tried to revive her. Responding officers and firefighters performed CPR as they took the girl to the hospital.

Former heavyweight champion Tyson was in Las Vegas at the time of the accident and flew on Monday to Phoenix, where he was seen entering the hospital. Tyson spokeswoman, Cynthia Schwartz, said the family had not arranged a funeral yet.

My prayers are still with the Tyson family. I pray that God gives you the strength to overcome this battle!

And that's when all hell breaks loose!!! Pitbull throws a mean punch and a side kick and has to be restrained by security to leave the idiot alone. Nevertheless, Pitbull keeps on with his performance and never disappointed the crowd. I give him an A+ for that one!! That was gangsta!!

Mike Tyson's Daughter In Critical Condition

Here is the story according to Dime Wars:

"Mike Tyson’s 4-year-old daughter is on life support at a Phoenix hospital after strangling herself with a treadmill cord this morning in what appears to have been a freak accident, Fox News reports. The girl’s 7-year-old brother discovered her hanging by the neck from an exercise machine in their Arizona home, and paramedics were immediately called. Tyson was not home at the time of the incident."

Here is the breaking news report on the accident:

My prayers are with Mike Tyson and his family. There is nothing more devastating than hearing about your child in any type of accident.

And in other Mike Tyson news.....don't forget to check out his documentary! I recently watched it yesterday and loved every minute of it. With the exception of all my children running around the house screaming and shouting with all their friends and I couldn't hear much of it............I have a new found respect for Mike Tyson. We all know the recent rumors of Rihanna and Drake being an item right? Well, according to Drake, those rumors are just that. Rumors. So if all of these rumors are just that then why add fuel to the fire? In a recent concert in Toronto, Canada, Drake was filmed saying "Shouts to Rihanna. I love you baby." Why would you do that Drake? Why make that announcement and have people like myself write about it and show the clip? LOL! I love this entertainment world! Stuff like this makes for more album sales!!! Check out the action below:

And by the way, does Drake remind anyone of Ryan Leslie? I don't know why he reminds me of Ryan but it could be the light skin thing...........not sure.........LMAO! Is light skin coming back? Would love to hear your opinion about that.

AP: Iran has a missle that can hit Israel

Iran tests missile with range that can hit Israel
By ALI AKBAR DAREINI, Associated Press Writer Ali Akbar Dareini, Associated Press Writer 1 hr 3 mins ago

TEHRAN, Iran – Iran tested its longest-range, solid-fuel missile yet Wednesday — a launch that displayed Tehran's reach and burnished the president's hardline reputation ahead of next month's election.

Defense Secretary Robert Gates confirmed the test, which was announced by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The launch raised concerns about the sophistication of Tehran's missile program and Pentagon officials cautioned that it leaves Iran at a crossroads.

"They can either continue on this path of continued destabilization in the region or they can decide that they want to pursue relationships with the countries in the region and the United States that are more normalized," said Bryan Whitman, a Pentagon spokesman.

Solid-propellent rockets are a concern because they can be fueled in advance and moved or hidden in silos, said a U.S. official, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss technical details of Iran's missile program.

Israel said the test appeared to be in part Iran's response to a positive meeting on Monday between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Barack Obama. Following the meeting, Obama threatened Iran with further international sanctions if it does not agree to reopen negotiations on its nuclear program.

According to All Hip Hop, Twista is not Pinky's baby daddy. Check out the article below:

Rapper TWISTA has shot down rumors he's expecting a baby with porn star PINKY, insisting he's never had sexual relations with her. The Slow Jamz MC, real name Carl Mitchell, was alleged to be the father of Pinky's unborn child, but he's moved swiftly to dismiss the claims and distance himself from the adult film actress. He says, "I want to inform everyone that not only is Pinky not pregnant by me, but I've never had any type of sexual encounters with her. I ain't mad at her."

And check out Pinky talking about putting on weight after taking the Depo Provera shot. I've had that shot in the past and I can tell you from experience that it puts weight on a woman in a matter of seconds!!! Real talk!!!

Thicker Business Cards Stand Out in Crowd

Thicker Business Cards Stand Out in Crowd

Open your desk drawer or wallet and pull out a business card - any business card will do and this is not the start of a conjuring trick!

I want you to feel the card - how does it fit with your fingers; does it feel robust; does it say, "I'm good quality" or is it simply a floppy piece of card with some numbers on it? Ask yourself seriously if it looks and feels right and now ask if it could be better!

Of course it can be better but so often business cards are relegated to low priority when it comes to design and quality and yet these little pieces of paper and card are working for your business and your image 24/7 and 365 days a year.

A simple and cost effective means of upgrading your business card is to quite simply improve the quality of the card being used to make them; a step up a few rungs of the quality grade scale will make an enormous difference in terms of what it communicates to whoever receives one.

A good heavy card paper will impart a feeling of luxury without the glamor; solidity and robustness which are essential in forging trust with new contacts and prospects; a feeling your business has been established for some time and is likely to be around for some time yet to come - all positive perceptions and very useful when introductions are first being made.

Just as importantly, you want your business card to stand out from the herd - a busy executive or decision maker is going to have a stack of business cards and most will be homogenously boring as they will be made from the same paper card, same colors (white and black) and the same, unimaginative name and contact information. This is a golden opportunity to really make a statement not only when you give your business card but whenever the recipient uses it or is looking for it.

Heavy business cards stand out in a pile of cards simply because they are thicker - here's a tip, go for the heaviest grade of paper you can afford; cost should not be such an issue as paper is not that expensive but you will ensure without any design work involved that your card is going to stand out instantly to the recipient when they are hunting through a deck of business cards searching for yours.

Going large on your card is not such a good idea - use standard sizing so the recipient can still keep the card in their wallet or purse; if is won't fit in there it is likely to get lost or even tossed in the trash. Color is also important when promoting your business through any item of your stationery but extremely so with your business card; think about using bright vibrant colors for the backdrop to the card to make it more noticeable but you can also opt for more subdued designs as long as they sufficiently make your card differentiated from the rest of the competition's offerings.

Remodeling Your Fireplace - How to Measure For a New Fireplace Mantle

Remodeling Your Fireplace - How to Measure For a New Fireplace Mantle

You sit in your living room area, look around, and say to yourself, "I am tired of that fireplace. It is dated and boring; I want a change, but I don't know where to begin."

When deciding whether or not to remodel a fireplace, homeowners are faced with several challenging decisions. From choosing a new color for a simple paint job to selecting the look for a more complex fireplace mantle replacement, the options and steps to make a fireplace remodeling project successful can quickly become overwhelming.

Relax! You have options. You could change the mantle shelf decorations, hang a different picture or mirror above it or simply change some lighting in the room. You could also make cosmetic changes that are a little more work, like adding a new fireplace screen or painting the mantle a different color. But if you want more than just a few minor changes, you will need to understand how to properly measure the fireplace area-particularly if you plan to replace the fireplace mantle shelf or full surround and the facing material (facing material is the material that surrounds the fireplace opening and is typically brick, tile, marble, or granite.)

In this article, I will address the first step to changing the area-how to measure for a new fireplace mantle.

Once you have definitely decided that you would like to remodel a fireplace with a new fireplace mantle or new fireplace mantle shelf, the next step is to determine what size mantle you will need. Keep in mind the fireplace mantle actually frames the surrounding facing material you want to reveal-like putting a picture frame around a photo and a mat.

When you begin measuring your fireplace, you will want to figure out the width and height of the fireplace opening including the facing material. This will determine what the inside opening of your mantle surround will be. For example, if your fireplace opening is 36 inches wide, and you have six inches of tile on either side, then you would need a mantle with an inside opening of no greater than 48 inches. Similarly, if the height of your fireplace opening is 32 inches and you have eight inches of tile above that opening, then you would need an inside opening height of no greater than 40 inches. I say "no greater than" because it is quite common for the inside opening of the mantle to overlap the facing material by as much as an inch-depending on the area.

On most measuring diagrams, additional measurements are needed, especially if the facing material protrudes from the wall more than an inch. The depth of that facing material will determine how deep the "return depth" of the mantle will need to be. If the facing material is less than one inch, then a standard return depth (1 3/4 inches) will work. If you need it to be deeper, or need a specific total height, you can customize your mantle measurements.

If you have a hearth (the area directly in front of the fireplace), it may be flush with the floor, or raised by as much as a foot in height. This is very important when measuring for a fireplace mantle as it determines whether or not you can have the legs of the mantle "sit" on the hearth or whether those legs will sit on the outside. Sometimes those legs will "wrap" around the hearth.

Another important measurement that you might see on a measuring diagram is the one that shows how much clearance there is on each side of the fireplace. Sometimes a window or light switch might be too close to the fireplace area. This is where true customization is a real advantage, and you will definitely want some advice from people who are experts. There are companies that will customize your mantle to meet specific needs that are unique to you, and they usually have deeper shelves, wider legs, etc. to help fulfill your needs.

Some fireplace mantle companies have live chat areas where you can log in and ask specific questions about your fireplace area. Mantle customization experts will even encourage you to call them directly to discuss your specific needs. In many cases, they also will suggest that you email a digital photograph of the area to be sure that the custom mantle you are ordering will fit.

When you are ready to remodel a fireplace, follow these instructions and you'll be able to accurately measure for a fireplace mantle that will properly fit. Measuring only takes a little time and effort on your part, and the outcome is well worth it.

Preventing Identity Theft: Protecting Customer and Employee Private Information

by Donna Ray Chmura

Identity theft occurs when someone uses personally identifying information, such as Social Security numbers or credit card numbers, without permission, to commit fraud or other crimes. Thieves obtain this personally identifiable information by going through business trash, intercepting credit card information, "pretexting" or "phishing" to obtain personal information under false pretenses, or hacking into vulnerable computer systems.

Identity theft is serious. While some identity theft victims can resolve their problems quickly, others spend thousands of dollars and countless hours repairing damage to their good name and credit record. Some victims may lose out on jobs, or be denied loans because of negative information on their credit reports. In rare cases, they may even be arrested for crimes they did not commit. And the business that allows customer information to be compromised faces a significant customer relations problem.

Many companies collect personal information from their customers, including names, addresses, and phone numbers; bank and credit card account numbers; income and credit histories; and Social Security numbers. In addition, businesses collect and store a multitude of personal information from their employees as well. It is essential that businesses take adequate steps to safeguard this data, and to prevent identify theft.

Employers should keep employee personnel records under lock and key. These records contain names, addresses and Social Security numbers, as well as performance information and salary history. Stored separately, and also under lock and key, should be information relating to employee health information, including workers comp information, doctors' notes, and leave requests.

These records should be taken out only when needed, and otherwise locked. Employees should not leave this information lying around. Rather, employees should secure such information if they need a bathroom break or are needed on the sales floor.

Protecting customer information is just as important.

First, be conservative in what information is collected in the first place. What is the minimum amount of information needed on each customer? Social Security numbers should be used only for reporting employee taxes and not as customer identification numbers.

Think about whether you should keep customer credit card numbers and expiration dates on file at all. Does it serve an important business function? Is the convenience to your customers of having this information on file important enough to justify the potential risks? Full credit card numbers should not be printed on receipts - use the last four digits only. Expiration dates should not be stored. Check the default settings on credit card processing machines and make sure they are not set to store this information permanently and are printing only the last four digits of the credit card number.

If you do need to keep private customer information for business reasons or to comply with the law, we recommend having a written document retention policy that sets forth how long you will keep the information, and how you will destroy it.

Paper records should be shredded so that they can't be reconstructed. Media containing electronic records should be erased or destroyed so that records cannot be recovered or reconstructed.

Many of these records will be kept electronically. It is imperative that your computer have adequate firewalls and anti-virus protection. These programs should be updated regularly. Sensitive information should be kept in password protected files.

Sensitive information may also be stored in cash registers, inventory scanners or cell phones, and the security of these devices should be assessed as well. If possible, store sensitive information on a computer that does not have an Internet connection. Web applications, including those where you send information to vendors, are particularly vulnerable to hackers or security breaches.

If a computer is compromised, disconnect it immediately from Internet access. Investigate incidents immediately. You may be required by law to make certain notifications to customers, law enforcement, credit bureaus or your business partners (banks, credit card processors, etc). It is important to have a security plan in place.

The Federal Trade Commission has significant information on how to protect yourself and your customers from identity theft, as well as what to do if you've had a breach of security. For example: http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/business/idtheft/bus69.pdf

Movie Trailer - Precious

I've heard about this movie "Precious" when opening up the new issue of Essence magazine this past week. At first, I didn't know what the rave was all about but while watching the movie trailer........I can't wait to see the movie in it's entirety! Mo'Nique, Mariah Carey and Paula Patton give an outstanding performance! I've never seen Mo'Nique in anything but comedy and in the clip you are about to see, Mo'Nique cries and acts as a druggie/abusive mom.........something I'm not used to seeing in a Mo'Nique film. Nevertheless, this is something you guys must see and please by all means leave your thoughts in the comments section.

Pregnancy Rumors Alert!!!

Oh how the rumors swirl around the internet! If it ain't one thing, it's another. That's how the saying goes right? Well, let's start this thing off. The first pregnancy rumor is of Pinky (of Porn fame). Rumors are that Twista (the rapper) has gotten the porn vixen, Pinky, pregnant!! I don't know how true these rumors are because a few months back I was listening to Sirius Satellite radio and heard Pinky talking with Angela Yee.........and if I recall correctly......Pinky said she had no kids and wasn't in the business of having any kids anytime soon. So as far as this rumor goes........I'll have to do a little more research. I will keep you updated on that. But check out the article according to This Is 50 below:

Pinky, known for her pink hair, curvaceous body and figure, big butt, and infamous lesbian scenes full of toy action posted all across the internet was supposedly involved in some type of personal relationship with the rapper Twista. Which through an alleged sexual encounter, led to a possible pregnancy.

Rumor has it that the porn star actress was crying at a recent Core DJ’s Retreat which sources close to Pinky revealed, this may have had something to do with the rapper Twista. As of yet, there has been no comment or official statement from Pinky nor Twista regarding the rumors of her pregnancy and/or her relationship with Twista.

Wow! Ain't that a bitch!!!

Next up......Tila Tequila hints at being pregnant by someone very famous in the hip hop industry via twitter. I'm thinking.........Ray J? As per Egypt Said So and my last Ray J article, Tila had officially made an announcement that she was dating/screwing Ray J. And even stated that they make a cute couple.

All I'm saying is this..........where is the protection being used? So many people are out here smashing with no protection! You don't know what other people have! Or how many people they done slept with already!! I'm an advocate of wearing protection!! Let's be careful people!! So we don't have slip ups like these folks!!

NYT: Familiar Obama Phrase Being Groomed as a Slogan

Familiar Obama Phrase Being Groomed as a Slogan
By PETER BAKER

WASHINGTON — President Obama told doctors and insurers on Monday that revamping health care would “lay a new foundation for our economy.” He told graduating college students on Wednesday that “we need to build a new foundation.” He told consumers on Thursday that protecting them was vital “to the new foundation we seek to build.”

Ready for a new New Deal? How about the New Foundation? As Mr. Obama labors to pull the country out of the deepest recession since the Great Depression and simultaneously overhaul energy, education and health care, he has coined an expression to encapsulate his ambitious program in the same way Franklin D. Roosevelt did in the 1930s.

New Foundation may not come tripping off the tongue quite as easily as New Deal — it has twice as many syllables, after all — but it has become a staple of Mr. Obama’s speeches in the last month. Whether a 21st-century public buys a 20th-century political technique is another question.

“Every administration seeks to brand itself, and New Foundation certainly captures the recovery and rebuilding project on the president’s hands,” said Joel P. Johnson, a White House counselor under President Bill Clinton. “But only history decides whether or not it sticks or whether or not an era can be defined in a phrase. If he produces results, then New Foundation could be one for the books. If not ... .”

Mr. Obama introduced the catchall phrase in his Inaugural Address in January. “The state of our economy calls for action, bold and swift,” he said that day, “and we will act not only to create new jobs but to lay a new foundation for growth.”

Newsone OPINION: Spike Lee’s Film on Kobe Bryant Could Use Some Work By Uzo OmetuNe

Spike Lee went through the ESPN Car Wash promoting his film, “Kobe Doin’ Work”, yesterday. I suppose he is the first major motion film director to go through the car wash, and I also imagine that he’ll be the only major motion film director to do so. And after seeing his film about “a game in the life of Kobe,” I imagine this will be the last piece of work he does on ESPN’s dime.

I love Spike Lee, and I love ESPN. The marriage of the two entities seemed destined for greatness. When I was watching the film’s “game of choice” between the Spurs and Lakers last season, I was 100% ecstatic to hear that Spike Lee was doing a piece on Kobe and I could not wait to see what would come of it.

Spike is known for doing some outlandish stuff in his movies. First of all, he is a cinematographic genius, and he really can change the perception of a scene, character or purpose with any one of the hundreds of unique angles, graphic effects and cinematic techniques that he has used over the course of his career.

Secondly, Spike is the master of addressing the issues that few other directors touch on. Sure, Spielberg talks about genocide, and Allen talks about the perils of love, but Spike talks about what’s real and what’s now. When he brings up racism in his films, his characters do not just experience it, they embody it. When he brings up sex and love, he doesn’t just explore the perils of monogamy, he explores the perils of not being monogamous.

Lastly, Spike is a terrific storyteller. Have you ever meet somebody who told stories in a roundabout fashion, seemingly with no rhyme or rhythm to their tale, only to hear the end of the narrative and became convinced it was the best story you have ever heard in your life? That is Spike Lee. His movies come across off-topic at first, only to convince the viewer that it is not his movie that is off topic, but it is the viewer himself who is off topic. He makes his audience see things a in a new light, that can turn a story about a hot day in Brooklyn into one of the greatest social archetype flicks of all time.

That—and more—is what makes Spike Lee a tremendous film director and thinker beyond his time. That being said, very little of those aspects were found in his documentary about Kobe Bryant.

I know it’s a lot to ask of a guy to make this grand biopic about a guy when you’re locked into the timeframe of a 48 minute basketball game. But I thought, if anyone could do it, it was Spike Lee. I also thought, if it could not be done, than Spike would not take this project on. Needless to say, I was wrong on at least one of those accounts.

As I said before, Spike is a master of touching on deeper social issues. Of course, Kobe is not the Plato of our generation, but he is an icon in our society, and clearly his own thoughts about his place in basketball, society, and maybe even just on his own team, would all be worthy points of discussion, but the film touches on none of that. Then there is the obvious thing we all want Kobe to elaborate more on, which was the whole Colorado debacle, but Spike didn’t even go near that topic—not even so much a question regarding how he has grown individually and with his family since that dubious event. And Spike didn’t dare bring up the LeBron-Kobe debate. Some insight on what Kobe thought about LeBron, or at least what it was like to play against LeBron and MJ, would have been nice, but it wasn’t in the film. Heck, I would have settled for a conversation about what Kobe hopes to accomplish in his remaining years as an NBA player.

Remember how I said Spike was a master storyteller as well? Well, not so much in this film. “Kobe Doing Work” is basically 80-something minutes of Kobe talking over footage of a basketball game. There is no plot, there is no story to tell, and there is no underlying meaning Spike is trying to drive home. It is more or less like sitting through a poorly-written, sitcom version of a basketball film session, only the lead character ( Kobe ) isn’t the least bit funny. Occasionally, Kobe tries to make a joke or two about giving Kurt Thomas a hard time, which I’m sure is funny if your name is Kobe Bryant or you have a really big soft spot for guards bouncing off power forwards. And as great as Kobe is, let’s face it, he won’t be doing play-by-play for the Lakers after he retires. He has one of the most monotonous voices—which is high criticism coming from me, someone with a no inflection in my voice whatsoever. The film would have been better off if it were narrated by one-time ESPN reporter Stephen A. Smith. Too bad they let him go, huh?

I will give Spike some credit for at least bringing some of his great cinematography work to this film. He does a nice couple of ultra-slow-photo shots that are pretty unique. However, they don’t really add to anything or give the audience any new perspective that say a really good Nike commercial wouldn’t give you.

So when “Kobe Doin’ Work” airs on ESPN this Saturday, don’t get too overly excited about it. It’s really not an Oscar-worthy film. Which is probably why they are airing it on television—then again, it’s not exactly “Must See TV” either. However, if you’re a sports fan, it’s kind of a “must see” for you, if not solely for the purpose of being able to talk about the film in the future. And at least you can rest your hat on the fact that it does not come across as some kind of homage to the Lakers or any other team—so Sacramento Kings fans, you can watch this too. At its core, the film is really just a look inside the head of Kobe Bryant. Unfortunately, it only gets skin deep, which is to be expected, given that skin-deep is about a deep as Kobe has ever let the public see him.

The Urban Daily: TOCCARA: “I Love My Vagina. I Don’t Need Anybody Loving It For Me.”e

The first time I met Toccara Jones she was in a bubble bath. Since being chosen as the lucky reporter to interview Ms. Jones for her first KING magazine cover I’ve never passed on an opportunity to speak with the eye-catching model turned TV personality. A few weeks ago we hung out at a Lady Hennessy party sharing the latest gossip over some Mojitos but real conversations in dark clubs have never been my thing.

So on a lazy afternoon I gave the Ashley Stewart model a ring and asked her what was going on with her workout DVD, going topless in Italian Vogue last year and what happened with her turn in the Vagina Monologues.

TUD: You sound really comfortable. What are you up to right now?
Toccara: I’m just chilling with the family. We’re all on the couch laid up and talking and stuff. Trying to make plans to go to the pool or something. My momma is high yellow so she wants to tan and get brown like me. She’ll be a sugar baby.

Sounds like fun. So what made you become a member of the Lady Hennessy glam squad?
Hennessy has scholarships they give to kids and it’s like a customer appreciation thing. We’ll go to the core consumers in places like Chicago and sign autographs and things like that for loyal customers. The main consumers of Hennessy are men so they picked some really hot ladies to show their appreciation. We also try to get more women to try Hennessy with different mixers.

I didn’t see you drink that much at the party though.
That’s good, because I’m a lady [laughs].

Speaking of being a lady, talk to me about the “Vagina Monologues.” Weren’t you supposed to be on the tour with Deelishis and New York ?

Unfortunately, my schedule didn’t permit me being a part of it. So I didn’t get to be on the tour. Hopefully next year I’ll get to do it. I was really looking forward to that. I was going to do the poem about Bob. He’s a vagina connoisseur and he liked to look at it.

What was it about that particular piece that interested you?
Hmmm, I just like it because it was about a woman who was uncomfortable with her vagina and then she ran into a guy who loved vagina and it just made her feel beautiful.

Have you had any “Bobs” in your life?
Well I am Bob. I love my vagina. I don’t need anybody to love my vagina for me.

You are very comfortable with your body indeed. You even posed nude for Italian Vogue last year. What was that experience like?
I get chills every time I talk about that photo shoot. It was the most amazing shoot I’ve ever had in my entire life. I just moved into a new apartment and I’m decorating it with nothing but Italian Vogue pictures! For them to pick me and to represent full figured women and to be a top feature with Naomi Campbell was amazing. And I tore it up!

I got nervous when I saw you in the trunk of that car. Reminded me of Kanye’s “Flashing Lights” video.
We were cranking out so many pictures and we were clicking so well that every single look we did made the magazine. But when we did the one in the trunk he told me to hold the position and stretch my neck. It was really uncomfortable, but that picture is fire

Then you were lifting a car up…
That was my first picture. We did that in five minutes and it was done. He was like next!

You know what my favorite is though, right?
I know which one.[laughs] You’re a guy. That [topless one] was cool but I wanted him to let me lift them up some more. They were all naturally hangin. I was like ‘let me pick ‘em up!’ and he said ‘no, no.’

When we first spoke for the KING cover you told me you were pouring your girls into a G cup. What part of the Alphabet are they in now since you’ve lost so much weight?

I’m still a G-G-G-G. 36G. The G stands for Goddess…

And “goodness gracious.” You were in great shape for that shoot. How is your workout DVD coming along?

It’s going absolutely fabulous. Everyone needs to go to iamtoccara.com and get their copy. I’m really proud of it and I want to do a whole line of workout DVDs:A striptease workout, a boot camp workout and cardio…

Speaking of striptease, one of our stylists June Ambrose has a stiletto workout, would you do that?
June Ambrose has a stiletto workout?? Oh my God I love her! She should have called me. I bowl in stilettos. I’m gonna have to check that out. A woman feels good when she’s in stilettos. I’m down for that.

When we first spoke someone special was cooking you mac and cheese and all that. Whose cooking for you now?

It’s lonely at the top. Ain’t nobody cooking for Toccara but Toccara.

We need to fix that, maybe start a contest to see who wants to cook for you.

Yes, yes!

What would you want?
Some salmon, some broccoli and some mashed potatoes…

Fellas, ya’ll heard the woman. Get it poppin!
