"Omarion and his new wife filmed themselves making a sex tape. At least that’s what our sources reveal to us. The YBF revealed exclusively weeks ago that Omarion had secretly married his girlfriend who is a bisexual Magic City stripper. And it looks like she brought her skills to the bedroom. We’re told these pics are from an alleged sex tape that’s about to hit the net soon. And his girl’s girlfriend may be the one holding the camera!!!

Clearly the pics are recent as Omarion is rocking his new braid-less fade. Coincidentally–or not–O’s new song “I Think My Girl Is Bi” is floating around the net right now too."

Miami Heat retire Alonzo Mourning's Jersey

Alonzo Mourning finally gets his due.
By: Jarred Powell

Alonzo Mourning watched his jersey get raised to the rafters in the Miami arena Monday night. This makes him, the first player in the organization's 21-year history to receive that honor. The ceremony was attended by Florida Gov. Charlie Crist, Heat president Pat Riley, Jason Cooper, a second cousin who donated Mourning a kidney in 2003, Mourning's former Georgetown coach John Thompson, former Hoya Dikembe Mutombo, who played alongside Mourning with the Hoyas and Patrick Ewing, a longtime mentor. I have watched Alonzo Mourning for a long time. I'm a native of Washington DC. I have seen Mourning go from star, naive, country boy, to big time player NBA player. Not that it wasn't there all the time. I have also seen how he has matured. This is a player that if you recall was subpoenaed to appear in court for his alleged relationship with D.C. drug kingpin Rayful Edmond III while he was a freshman at Georgetown. he was cleared of any wrong doing, but nevertheless was guilty by association. he learned from that and grew to a man. A mans man is what some people would say. He brought every night and if it wasn't for the minutes that he played in the NBA Finals the NBA Finals in 2006, the Heat would have won the championship down the stretch. This is well deserved , but a trip to the NBA Hall of Fame is right around the corner. As a fan of yours since you were 19 years old. I'm proud of you and congratulations.

Did Steve Harvey Steal Her Book?

A writer named Sharon P. Carson is claiming that Steve Harvey's new much talked about book "Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man" is not his it's HERS! She claims she holds the copyright to a book of the same exact title with the same exact premise. And much of his book is way too similar to hers. She wrote her book back in 2004 and is speaking out about Steve (or his people) stealing it and changing some words, then slapping his name on it so he could go make money for the publishers and writers.

Heres some examples she gives:

Before Steve wrote: " WE (MEANING MEN) HAVE TO FEEL LIKE SOMEBODYS GOT OUR BACK, LIKE WERE THE KING, EVEN IF WERE NOT

I wrote: THE GOLDEN RULE OF RELATIONSHIPS IS THIS, IF YOU PLACE YOUR OWN VALUE IN A RELATIONSHIP BELOW THAT OF A MAN, YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO UP THE PRICE.

Before Steve wrote: WHEN SHES IN LOVE WITH YOU SHE IS LOYAL TO YOU - SHE CANT SEE HERSELF WITH SOMEONE ELSE BECAUSE FOR HER NO ONE ELSE WILL DO. THATS A WOMANS LOVE

I wrote: THIS IS WHAT HAS BEEN KEEPING WOMEN IN BAD RELATIONSHIPS; THEY THINK THAT NO ONE ELSE WILL DO THAT HE IS THE ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD FOR HER

Before Steve wrote: If youre telling your man you want a nose job and he sees nothing wrong with the nose you already have, then maybe you ought to think about leaving your nose alone, why run the risk of something going wrong when your man is already happy with the way you look. Why lose the extra weight if your man is happy with you the way you are?

I WROTE: HE WANTS ME TO LOSE WEIGHT If you are overweight, losing weight is a wonderful idea for many reasons, including your health. When you embark on a weight-loss program, however, do it because it is something you want to do and not just to please the man in your life. If it makes him happy in the process, thats great, but he might think you need to lose 50 pounds and you would be happy with

This wouldnt be the first time a celeb claimed a book was theirs and it was actually stolen. Sadly, this happens everyday. But when the person in question is getting Oprah publicity it becomes an extra serious matter. You be the judge. Scandal?

Okay, first off, looking at the examples she gave, it looks to me as if she was giving an opinion from a woman's perspective and Steve Harvey was giving his from that of a man. No harm, no foul. Perhaps they should team up and do a Relationships: From a Man's Perspective and a Woman's Perspective type show and let BET or WE produce it. I bet it would be an instant hit and they could stop the squabbling. But hey, if she makes a big enough fuss, her book just might get published and be the "Woman's Perspective" spin-off or something.

Immigrants slain in NFL Players condominium

Can anyone in the NFL stay away from trouble?

Two African immigrants were slain at a Long Island condo owned by former New York Jet and current New Orleans Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma. Allegedly have been killed as revenge for an Internet scam, police said Tuesday. Sekou Sakor and Ansu Keita were each shot in the head sometime Thursday night at a condominium in Woodbury, N.Y. No arrest have been made in connection with the shooting. Police have ruled out Vilma because he wasn't present at the house when this took place. The condominium, located in a gated community, reportedly is up for sale and members of Vilma's family had access to it. The big issue here is why can't NFL Players stay away from trouble. Its almost like it finds them. Vilma, Plaxico Burress, Micheal Vick, Pacman Jones; these are big time professional athletes that shouldn't have any reason to be anywhere near anything resorting a crime scene. You have made alot of money, you can take care of your family and yourself and you live a dream life. Why can't you be satisfied. This was a bad circumstance for Vilma who won't be charged with anything but this has got to stop somewhere.

I caught a peek at Beyoncé Knowles and Idris Elba starring in a soon-to-be-released flick titled “Obsession.” The cast consists of Christine Lahti, Jerry o’Connell, Ron Rogge, Richard Ruccolo, Scout Taylor- Compton and Bruce McGill.

This Steven Shill drama/thriller stars Idris Elba who plays Derek Charles, a recently promoted Asset Manger, happily married to Beyoncé Knowles character, Sharon.

They have a child, a son and all is well until Derek’s new office temp (Skoochie aka Skank/Hoochie) Lisa (played by Ali Larter) arrives. She attempts to seduce Derek and when that fails, she reduces herself to liar and scary stalker(a scene some of you may know all too well). The office temp (Larter) is off the chain, but when she crosses the line, Derek’s (Elba) classy wife (Knowles) let’s ‘crazy’ out.The movie is slated to be released on 24 April. Don’t miss it!

'ER' Checks Out After 15th Season...Sniffle, Sniffle

By BILL KEVENEY
USA TODAY
BURBANK, Calif. -- "Boom. Boom. Blanket. Boom."
Noah Wyle talks himself through each step as he walks deliberately across the "ER" trauma room set, from fetal monitor to glove dispenser and back to the gurney where his Dr. John Carter will help an intern deliver twins.
"It's a swaddle, right?" he asks, checking each move with medical technical adviser Jon Fong, M.D. "Baby, point, wrap, wrap, bundle."
Wyle has done this ballet -- the Trauma 2 waltz -- hundreds of times since NBC's groundbreaking medical drama premiered in 1994. But this is his last dance, one of a cascade of lasts for cast and crew that will be part of "ER'"s two-hour series finale (Thursday, 9 p.m. after a retrospective at 8 p.m.).
"My final trauma scene," says Wyle, one of many ex-regulars to return for goodbyes. "I've been on the gurneys as a patient, over the gurneys as a doctor, done a lot of chest compressions, thoracotomies and intubations, sewn a lot of sutures and snapped on a lot of latex gloves."
The scene, which not surprisingly has complications, completes the circle at Chicago's County General Hospital for the now-veteran Carter, who assisted on a delivery as a medical student in the long-ago premiere.
For the finale trauma scene, Wyle is one of a dozen people, including original nurse Yvette Freeman, navigating the small green room in the signature choreography that helped make "ER" one of TV's last super-hits and NBC its dominant network.
During "ER'"s early years, it averaged more than 30 million viewers as TV's No. 1 show -- peaking at 48 million for a 1995 episode -- and spawned magazine covers, patient inquiries to doctors, Emmys (to date, a record 122 nominations) and an Oscar-winning movie career for George Clooney.
"It brought back hour dramas in a time where the sitcom was king," says executive producer Christopher Chulack, who says "ER" is leaving at the right time.
What was then an unusual style -- constantly moving Steadicam shots, quick cuts, medical talk and disconnected dialogue -- made NBC executives wary until it enthralled viewers, he says. "You felt you were a fly on the wall every Thursday night."
Now, reflecting its age, unavoidable repetition and a sharp decline in overall TV viewing, "ER" (9.3 million) is a shadow of that ratings powerhouse but still the No. 3 drama for faded NBC. It still attracts top talent, including Angela Bassett and Forest Whitaker.
Freeman, whose Haleh Adams has been part of "ER'"s ever-reliable, recognizable nursing staff from the pilot, is proud the series received a fitting goodbye, with guest appearances through the season by "every star you can name," including Clooney. Thursday's episode features more: Sherry Stringfield, Laura Innes, Eriq La Salle and Alex Kingston.
"In the beginning, it was a touch of reality. It was fast-paced. ... You got to know the patients more and their problems more," she says. "Then it got a little soapy." It also featured explosions, shootouts, a helicopter crash and a tank assault, the last based on a real event.
More recently, "ER" has become revitalized, she says. "Now it's come back to itself. It's one of the best TV shows ever, and I'm proud to be on it."
History, legacy and an enduring fondness are on the minds of those shooting the final scenes, including director Rod Holcomb, who also directed the two-hour series premiere. "Not only was the script really well-written by Michael Crichton and wonderfully produced by John Wells, but that cast -- what a cast!"
A simple gurney wheel provided the inspiration for "ER'"s seamless visual style, he says. "It turns, it tumbles, it twists. If you keep following and watch it long enough, you'll realize you've been through the entire ER ward and not known it."
Wyle, who says "ER" may have gone on a little longer than ideal, is pleased with the quality of the final season, and with the legacy of the series. "It was fairly innovative in pace and style," he says.
"We would tell the stories in a piecemeal fashion, only catching the end or beginning of an arc, which reinforces the notion that the ER is a transitional place where you don't necessarily know where they're coming from or going to," Wyle says. "They're just passing through."

Former Nevada Wolfpack Basketball Player, Kirk Snyder, Jailed on Burglary, Assault Charges in Ohio

Former Nevada Wolf Pack basketball star Kirk Snyder was jailed in Ohio on charges of aggravated burglary and felonious assault, a newspaper reported on its Web site Monday.
Warren County sheriff's deputies said they arrested the former NBA player Monday morning at his home in Deerfield Township northeast of Canton, Ohio.
The Cincinnati Enquirer reported that a woman who lived near Snyder called police when she heard glass breaking downstairs at her house.
Liz Margerum/RGJ File
She told deputies that when she went to investigate, a tall man pushed her aside and ran to an upstairs bedroom where he allegedly began to assault the woman's sleeping husband. She says she was able to pull the hood covering his head and he then fled out the back door.
Deputies say their investigation and a canine led deputies to Snyder's nearby residence where he was taken into custody within minutes of the offense.
Snyder, 25, led the Nevada Wolf Pack to the NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16 in 2004. He was the 16th player taken in the 2004 NBA draft and played for several NBA teams before spending the past season in a pro league in China.
Snyder was being held in the Warren County jail pending his arraignment today in Mason Municipal Court. The case remains under investigation.

Former America's Next Top Model Contestant gets Engaged on TV

Isis King may not have won America's Next Top Model when she was a contestant on the show's 11th cycle, but she scored an even bigger prize when she appeared on The Tyra Banks Show Monday – a marriage proposal! King's boyfriend, Desmond, got down on one knee on the show's set and asked King to marry him.
King had thought she was on the show to open up about her sex change operation last year. "I'm very shocked," King told Tyra cameras afterward. "We've been talking about this kind of thing for a while but I would never have thought that it would happen on this show.
I'm very happy. We've been best friends for almost three and a half years now. He's everything I want." King then giggled before giving a Beyoncé "Single Ladies" hand wave and saying: "He put a ring on it!" Said King's new fiancé: "I feel blessed. I feel like I'm complete."

Looks like Ice Cube isn't the only one with new plans. Brandy Norwood (Moesha) and her mom have partnered with "Girlfriends" creator Mara Brock Akil (who will write the pilot) for a new televison series to be featured on the CW and produced by Touchstone Television. The singer told MTV that on the new show she will play the role of a single mom... a native New Yorker who moves to Los Angeles to take a job as an entertainment editor. Many of us in this industry (writing, journalism) know that life all too well.

'Grey's Anatomy' Actress Searches For Missing Sibling

You may recognize Aasha Davis. The actress has had recurring roles on several primetime shows. She’s appeared on “Grey’s Anatomy,” “ER,” “Friday Night Lights,” and “The Shield.”
But in recent weeks, her television appearances have been very personal and heartbreaking.
Aasha is pleading for help in finding her missing sister, Lesley Herring. “I’m desperate, “she said at one news conference. “If Lesley’s out there listening to us, please give us a call, come home, let us know what’s going on.”
Detectives label the circumstances surrounding the case suspicious. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the 44-year-old was last seen on February 8. Her husband, Lyle Herring, told the media the couple argued in their home. He said he took a nap after the fight and woke up to find her gone. But if she left on her own, Lesley did not take her car or personal belongings, both remained at the residence.
There is more. Although Lyle Herring maintains his wife vanished, it was Aasha who reported her missing. She went to the police after learning her sister failed to show up at work for several days. Lyle Herring said he had nothing to do with his wife’s disappearance. But investigators believe he could be more forthcoming. “I would describe his cooperation as fragmented and less than helpful, not someone I would expect as a grieving husband,” said Detective Chris Gable.
Lesley’s family also says Lyle Herring told them he went to Mexico to look for his wife. Aasha told Nancy Grace she has had limited contact lately with her brother-in-law, saying “You can ask a lot of questions, but you can’t necessarily make people answer them.”

Chicago Sun-Times files for bankruptcy

CHICAGO, Illinois (CNN) — The company that owns the Chicago Sun-Times and 58 other newspapers and online sites said Tuesday it had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
The Sun-Times Media Group, Inc. said it would continue to operate its newspapers and Web sites as usual while it improves its cost structure and stabilizes operations.
Tuesday’s announcement comes amid a raft of newspaper closings and cuts that has seen the end of The Rocky Mountain News in Denver, Colorado; The Seattle Post-Intelligencer, and The Christian Science Monitor.
The chain that owns the Los Angeles Times and the Chicago Tribune is in bankruptcy and other papers are on the brink. And two industry giants, The Washington Post and The New York Times, announced last week they are cutting costs and staff amid tumbling revenue and continued economic decline.
The Sun-Times said similar cost-cutting measures failed to turn around the company’s fortunes.
“The significant downturn in the print advertising environment that has affected newspapers across the country has continued to severely impact us,” said Jeremy Halbreich, chairman and interim chief executive of the Sun-Times Media Group. “Unfortunately, this deteriorating economic climate, coupled with a significant, pending IRS tax liability dating back to previous management, has led us to today’s difficult action.”
Halbreich said the company would explore the potential sale of assets or new investment in the company to help it remain viable.
At least 120 newspapers in the United States have shut down since January 2008, according to Paper Cuts, a Web site tracking the newspaper industry. More than 21,000 jobs at 67 newspapers have vaporized in that time, according to the site.
Newspapers have struggled to meet challenges posed by changing reader habits, a shifting advertising market, an anemic economy, and the newspaper industry’s own early strategic errors.
“We provide the area’s best source of local news and information and remain committed to continuing to serve our readers, advertisers, and communities,” Halbreich said. “We have enjoyed a long, rich history in the Chicago area and our goal is to preserve and sustain these strong print and online news and information assets that are such an integral part of the fabric of Chicago and its neighboring communities.”
The company said it expects the Chapter 11 process to be completed this year.

Plaxico Trial Delayed Until June 15

NEW YORK - A gun possession case against New York Giants star Plaxico Burress was adjourned Tuesday until June, but his attorney said the matter could be resolved sooner if a plea agreement can be reached.
Burress accidentally shot himself in the leg with an unlicensed gun at a Manhattan nightclub last year.
The star receiver, wearing a gray suit and a light blue shirt, arrived at Manhattan Criminal Court in the company of his wife and his attorney, Benjamin Brafman.
Both sides agreed to adjourn the case to June 15 following a brief hearing before Judge Michael Yazinsky. Burress’ bail was continued.
Prosecutor John Wolfstaetter told the judge that the prosecution was continuing its investigation.
Brafman told reporters after the hearing that he had reached no plea agreement with prosecutors and said discussions were continuing. If the two sides reach an agreement, they will not necessarily wait for the scheduled court date, he said.
“If the case needs to be advanced to an earlier date it will be ...We are continuing to work our respective investigations, stay tuned,” he said.
Asked whether Burress would play for the Giants this year, Brafman said, “It’s not my decision. It’s the Giants’ decision and Plaxico’s decision. It’s not a legal decision, it’s a sports decision.
“I assume a lot will depend on how, when and if this case is resolved and June 15th is the next day we are back unless there is a reason to come back earlier.”
A person with knowledge of the case said Monday that Burress’ attorneys and prosecutors have been in discussions about a deal but remain at odds over the terms.
Burress is charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, a felony carrying a minimum prison sentence of 3½ years upon conviction.

Hip-Hop star Ice Cube has been cast in a new role a la Denzel Washington style. Not exactly since Cube’s role is in an action comedy, but hey, potatoe…potato, right. His new role will be in a film titled Ride Along.
Cube’s production company Cube Vision Productions will produce the movie, along with producer Matt Alvarez (Janky Promoters, Are We There Yet, the Barbershops, All About The Benjamin’s and Next Friday) who will re-write the original script.
Ice Cube (nee O'Shea Jackson), age 39, will play this rogue cop, who attempts to sabotage his sister’s marriage to a psychiatrist by taking him for a ride. Production is slated to begin this summer.
Ice Cube’s next film, Janky Promoters, is due in theaters shortly, but it’s currently seeking distribution after an agreement with the Weinstein Co. soured.
Ice Cube’s status in the industry was on the rise following his role as 'Doughboy' in John Singleton’s hit, Boyz n the Hood.
A little encouragement from Singleton led Ice Cube to try his hand at screenwriting. In 1995 he wrote comedy Friday. The movie was an instant hit, earning $28 million worldwide. He’s been on the rise ever since then.
The scuttlebutt mill has been churning: New Line Cinema is supposed to be in the early stages of an N.W.A. Bio picture, which Ice Cube and longtime music collaborator, Dr. Dre may co-produce. Keep an eye out for updates.

Andre 3000 Arrested

Rapper Andre 3000 was arrested outside of Atlanta on Saturday (March 28) for driving his 2007 Porsche Carrera at a speed of 109 MPH.
In what police called "an accident waiting to happen," the Grammy Award-winning artist was arrested by an officer from the Henry County Police Department's Highway Enforcement of Aggressive Traffic Team early in the morning, reported local station WSBTV.
If accurate, Andre's speed of 109 MPH was 44 MPH over the 65 MPH speed limit on I-75.
“Traveling that fast along 75, you’re passing people as if they’re standing still,” stated Henry County Police Captain Jason Bolton.
According to TMZ.com, the rapper was released after posting $1,200 bail. He is scheduled for a court appearance on April 29.
The arrest comes at a time when State Representative Jim Cole is lobbying for a "Super Speeder" bill to be passed in Georgia. The law will force violators driving more than 85 MPH on highways and four-lane roads to pay an additional $200 fine.
Cole hopes that Andre 3000 will help support the bill.
"He might be willing to help us market it," Cole added.

Former Judge Indicted on Sex Abuse, Sodomy Charges Against Inmates

(CNN) -- A former south Alabama judge is accused of checking male inmates out of jail and forcing them to engage in sexual activity including paddling, according to officials and court documents.
Former Mobile County Circuit Judge Herman Thomas was arrested Friday after a grand jury returned the indictments against him. He was released on $287,500 bond later Friday.
The indictments total 57 counts, and the charges range from ethics violations to kidnapping, extortion, sex abuse and sodomy. If convicted on the most serious charge -- kidnapping, a Class A felony -- Thomas faces a prison sentence of 10 to 99 years in prison, Mobile County District Attorney John Tyson Jr. said Monday.
But Thomas' attorney, Robert Clark, said Friday the accusations against the former judge amount to "a high-tech lynching."
"Did you ever think of the fact that this is the only black circuit judge we've ever had in Mobile County and that the right-wing Republicans have gotten rid of him?" Clark said at a news conference, portions of which were posted on the Web sites of CNN affiliates WKRG-TV in and WALA-TV.
"This is racism at its very finest."
Thomas was arrested during that news conference; footage shows police walking up to Thomas, tapping him on the shoulder and leading him into the adjacent jail building without handcuffing him. Later Friday, Clark was threatened with arrest after refusing to leave Tyson's news conference, according to CNN affiliate reports.
"The South hasn't changed all that much," Clark, described by the Mobile Press-Register as "a longtime and flamboyant fixture of the Mobile defense bar," told CNN on Monday.
He said Thomas denies all the charges, and he questioned the credibility of the alleged victims. "Everybody that's listed in the indictment is either serving life for murder or some other horrible crime." Some have already recanted, Clark said, adding, "None of this is new stuff." He pledged he would "fight till the last dog falls."
Meanwhile, the Alabama State Bar said its disciplinary commission suspended Thomas' law license Monday.
The indictment returned Friday, posted on WKRG's Web site, offers few details of the alleged offenses but makes several references to Thomas forcing people to expose their buttocks "to paddling and/or whipping."
The posted indictment had names of the alleged victims blacked out. But each of the nine alleged victims was in Mobile County Circuit Court on charges ranging from criminal mischief to murder, according to the Press-Register, which cited court records.
One of the inmates, according to the newspaper, went before Thomas on multiple occasions and faced several felony charges. He was sent to prison for a short time, but Thomas ordered him released early, according to the Press-Register. He was sentenced in federal court and later released and has since been accused of murder and attempted murder.
During Thomas' judgeship, he had a storage room furnished like an office near his eighth-floor chamber at Mobile's Government Plaza, the Press-Register said. Several criminal defendants have alleged, in affidavits and in court, that Thomas asked to paddle their buttocks in the room, and some said he suggested sexual encounters there, according to the newspaper.
Thomas resigned from the bench in October 2007 just before being scheduled to stand trial before the Alabama Court of the Judiciary on ethics violations charges. The complaint, dismissed after Thomas' resignation, accuses him of "extrajudiciary personal contact" with some defendants but does not refer to any sexual contact.
Asked about Clark's allegations of racism, Tyson told CNN, "In this case, as in every case, we try to react to the law and facts, and that's all. Anything else is outside our authority. I can assure anybody that's interested that this is not being pursued for some racial agenda."
Thomas' bail carried three conditions, Tyson said -- that the ex-judge have no contact with males under the age of 21, that he have no contact with the complaining witnesses or their families, and that he surrender his passport.
All the Mobile County Circuit judges have recused themselves from Thomas' case -- standard procedure for a case involving another judge, Tyson said. A judge from another county is being brought in to oversee the case. An arraignment date has not been set, Clark said.
But on March 9, another Mobile County Circuit judge barred Thomas from his courtroom. Judge Joseph S. Johnston wrote in an order that during Thomas' tenure on the bench he "used his office to threaten criminal defendants with jail time, penitentiary time and probation revocations if they did not engage in sexual acts with him."
Johnston attached to the order, under seal, a disc "containing the interviews of three criminal defendants who were subjected to the treatment described above," the order said.
Clark appealed to the Alabama Supreme Court, saying Johnson's suspension order "cites allegations and innuendo and rumors." He said Monday the high court hasn't weighed in on the matter.

Apparently she will be doing jobs that fans text in for her to do which include cleaning sewers, being a beautician for dead people, and a fast-food worker. If she does a good job at these positions she gets $5,000 a week. I wonder is she will be a prostitute on the show or is that too much like real life for her?! What the f**k ever VH1 - give me a got damn reality show!

14-Year-Old New Jersey Girl May Get Sex Offender Status

Teen posts 30 Nude Photos On MySpace Of Herself
TRENTON- (AP) A 14-year-old New Jersey girl has been accused of child pornography after posting nearly 30 explicit nude pictures of herself on MySpace.com — charges that could force her to register as a sex offender if convicted.
The case comes as prosecutors nationwide pursue child pornography cases resulting from kids sending nude photos to one another over cell phones and e-mail. Legal experts, though, could not recall another case of a child porn charge resulting from a teen’s posting to a social networking site.
MySpace would not comment on the New Jersey investigation, but the company has a team that reviews its network for inappropriate images. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children tipped off a state task force, which alerted the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office.
The office investigated and discovered the Clifton resident had posted the “very explicit” photos of herself, sheriff’s spokesman Bill Maer said Thursday.
“We consider this case a wake-up call to parents,” Maer said. The girl posted the photos because “she wanted her boyfriend to see them,” he said.
Investigators are looking at individuals who “knowingly” committed a crime, he said, declining to comment further because the case is still being investigated.
The teen, whose name has not been released because of her age, was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography and distribution of child pornography. She was released to her mother’s custody.
If convicted of the distribution charge, she would be forced to register with the state as a sex offender under Megan’s Law, said state Attorney General Anne Milgram. She also could face up to 17 years in jail, though such a stiff sentence is unlikely.
Some observers - including the New Jersey mother behind the creation of Megan’s Law — are criticizing the trend of prosecuting teens who send racy text messages or post illicit photos of themselves.

Maureen Kanka - whose daughter, Megan, became the law’s namesake after she was raped and killed at age 7 in 1994 by a twice-convicted sex offender - blasted authorities for charging the 14-year-old girl.
The teen needs help, not legal trouble, she said.
“This shouldn’t fall under Megan’s Law in any way, shape or form. She should have an intervention and counseling, because the only person she exploited was herself.”
Called “sexting” when it’s done by cell phone, teenagers’ habit of sending sexually suggestive photos of themselves and others to one another is a nationwide problem that has confounded parents, school administrators and law enforcers.
Prosecutors in states including Pennsylvania, Connecticut, North Dakota, Ohio, Utah, Vermont, Virginia and Wisconsin have tried stop it by charging teens who send and receive the pictures.
In northeastern Pennsylvania, a prosecutor recently threatened to file child porn charges against three teenage girls who authorities say took racy cell-phone pictures that ended up on classmates’ cell phones.
The MySpace case may be a first, though.
“I’m not sure I’ve seen a prosecution like this coming out of a social networking site,” said Seth Kreimer, a constitutional law professor at the University of Pennsylvania.
Milgram, the attorney general, could not recall another such case in New Jersey. She cautioned parents to get on those sites and monitor what their kids are talking about and posting.
“Unfortunately, youth don’t have the same judgment as adults,” she said, “and often, adults don’t have the same technical savvy as the youth.”

Councilman Fights To Keep Sex Offenders OUT of City Housing Projects

Councilman Eric Gioia is adamant about where New York's most dangerous pervs should not live - city housing projects. But when asked to suggest neighborhoods where they might reside he couldn't come up with a single suggestion. "I don't think government should be telling people where to live," Gioia offered. For the third year in a row, Gioia (D-Queens) released a report Sunday detailing the number of registered sex offenders illegally living in public housing.
Federal law and New York City Housing Authority policy bars registered offenders from living in subsidized housing. This year the number jumped to 126 offenders, up 12% from last year. In 2006, Gioia found 200 registered offenders in public housing.
Forty-two of the city's 3,432 registered sex offenders live in projects in Brooklyn, according to the new report. There are 37 in Manhattan public housing, 36 are in the Bronx, eight are in Queens and three are in Staten Island.
"We are implicitly saying to the poorest among us, 'We're sorry, but we will warehouse the most violent predators in New York City next to you and we won't even tell about it,'" Gioia said.
A Housing Authority spokeswoman defended the agency's efforts.
"When NYCHA is notified by the NYPD that an individual is a registered sex offender who is living in public housing, tenancy proceedings are begun to remove them," spokeswoman Millie Molina said.

A night of revelry turned terrifying for nine people who were injured during violence at two city clubs early Sunday, police said. Four employees were stabbed at a glitzy Chelsea club and five people were shot in front of a Staten Island hot spot, police said.
The trouble at Club Promenade on W. 28th St. began after a patron objected to leaving at closing time, police said. Employees were trying to get a raucous crowd to disperse from the club at 4:30 a.m. Abdul Taylor, 35, of Queens, pushed back, cops said.
When the club's bouncers and coat check staff tried to force him out, Taylor pulled a knife and began slashing, police said. Clubgoers ran screaming from the two-story dance hall as other employees called 911. Taylor, of Long Island City, was charged with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
A 35-year-old Club Promenade employee was stabbed in the stomach during the melee and his 45-year-old colleague was slashed in the torso, officials said. A 28-year-old staffer was cut in the leg and another employee, also 28, was slashed in the arm. They were all in stable condition at St. Vincent's Hospital.
Club Promenade managers refused to comment, but neighbors said the club often attracts a rowdy crowd.
"There is always noise on this street," said neighbor Caroline Asher. "We've had [problems] in this club before."
On Staten Island, cops were sent to The Lion's Lair on Bay St. just after 3 a.m. after calls about a disorderly crowd. Gunshots were heard as police arrived, scattering the group of revelers.
David Walters, 35, who works at a nearby Tompkinsville deli, said it was a quiet night until the shots rang out.
"People kept saying 'Move! Move!' and 'Run! Run!,'" Walters said. "The streets were filled with people all trying to get away. They said someone had a gun. People were scared."
A 20-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man were each hit in the leg and taken to Richmond University Medical Center in stable condition. Before sunrise, three more victims walked into area hospitals and reported that they had also been grazed by bullets outside the club, police said.
No arrests have been made, but police recovered two handguns near the dance hall.

26-year-old Staten Island woman was found dead in her apartment today with a hair dryer cord wrapped around her neck, police and law enforcement sources said.
Caroline Wimmer was found face down in her Greenleaf Avenue apartment by her father shortly after noon.
Her family was worried because no one had heard from her since Saturday.
There were no signs of forced entry and nothing appeared to be stolen from her apartment, sources said.
The city medical examiner is slated to conduct an autopsy on Ms. Wimmer tomorrow, according to a spokeswoman.

DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER
Monday, March 30th 2009, 6:45 PM He's part of the ground crew, but a JetBlue luggage handler went airborne - trapped in the belly of a New York-to-Boston flight.Sidney Nurse flew 200 miles in the cargo bin after mysteriously getting stuck while loading bags at JFK Airport, officials said. The 21-year-old worker stunned his tarmac counterparts at Boston's Logan Airport Saturday when they opened the cargo door and unloaded him along with the luggage."Even after talking to him we were a little uncertain as to how it happened," Massachusetts State Police spokesman David Procopio said Monday.Cops initially suspected Nurse of being a stowaway, but Procopio said he was just an accidental tourist.Local NBC News reported that Nurse dozed off while loading bags, and didn't wake up until the plane was taxiing for take off. He told cops that he panicked when he realized the plane was in the air and used his cell phone to call JetBlue officials while in flight.A medical team examined Nurse at Logan and determined he was not injured during the flight.JetBlue spokesman Bryan Baldwin had no comment except to say the airline was investigating the incident.Baldwin said the cargo bins on JetBlue planes are pressurized, making them as warm as the passenger cabin.Nurse returned to New York on a JetBlue flight; this time flying with the passengers instead of the bags.

(The accused) Arcedio Álvarez, de 59 años, violó a su hija durante 30 años.
From Toby Muse
(CNN) -- A central Colombian farm worker has been accused of raping his daughter for decades and fathering eight children with her.
The daughter, 35-year-old Alba Nidia, told CNN that her biological father has sexually abused her since she was about 5, shortly after her mother's death, resulting in 14 pregnancies. Eight children -- five girls and three boys -- survived.
Her father, Arcedio Alvarez Quintero, is being held in jail to face charges of sexual abuse, incest and aggravated sexual assault. Alvarez and his family live near the town of Mariquita in the western province of Tolima, and the local media have dubbed him a "monster."
The case has been likened to that of Josef Fritzl, the 73-year-old Austrian who was sentenced this month to life in prison for imprisoning and raping his daughter in his basement over 24 years, during which time she gave birth to seven children.

Officials: Light, booming in sky likely falling Russian booster

By Stephanie Chen CNN

(CNN) -- The mysterious burst of light in the sky and loud booms witnessed Sunday night by residents along the Mid-Atlantic coastline was likely caused by a Russian rocket booster re-entering the atmosphere, said an official at the U.S. Naval Observatory. The exact cause of the flash that caused hundreds of people to call the media, local authorities and the National Weather Service was still unknown Monday afternoon. But eyewitness accounts of the color, shape and timing of the light and sound had officials at the Naval Observatory confident of the phenomenon's cause: the re-entry of orbiting space junk from the Russian Soyuz spacecraft that blasted off last week from Kazakhstan.
"An object like this will have a pretty spectacular display when it enters the atmosphere," said U.S. Naval Observatory spokesman Geoff Chester.
Monday morning after the incident, Chester said he traced the rocket booster's path and found it was hovering over Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, around the time people reported seeing the light.
Sunday's mysterious flash and booms also could have been a fireball, a natural phenomenon that occurs when a rock about the size of a suitcase slams into the earth. Naval Observatory officials say that scenario is unlikely in this case, since the space junk was already orbiting in the area.

What Will Jail Time Do To T.I.'s Career?

(CNN) -- There is an old saying: Out of sight, out of mind. But when rap star T.I. disappears from the hip-hop scene to complete his one-year, one-day sentence in federal prison, several music experts say, that won't be the case.
The self-proclaimed "King of the South" will be sticking around, thanks to the success of his most recent album -- the double-platinum, Grammy-nominated "Paper Trail," released last September -- his community service efforts and a reality show on MTV that has resonated with fans, they say.
"I think that if anything, it will gain him more fans and actually support his fan base, because he's talked about making a mistake," said Emil Wilbekin, editor in chief of Giant Magazine, which focuses on urban music and lifestyle and featured T.I. on its November 2008 cover. "He's talked about taking care of the error of his ways."
T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, was sentenced to prison in federal court in Atlanta, Georgia, last week on weapons charges. He will be taken into custody no earlier than May 19.
In addition to serving prison time, the court asked T.I., 28, to pay a $100,300 fine on weapons charges related to purchasing machine guns and silencers.
"I would like to say thank you to some and apologize to others," Harris said at his sentencing Friday. "In my life, I have been placed in the worst-case scenario and had to make the best of it."
Though he had been in legal trouble before, Harris' current situation began when he was arrested just hours before he was to perform at the BET Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta.

Stephen Curry younger brother to transfer to Duke?
By: Jarred Powell

Seth Curry, younger brother of Stephen Curry and the nations leading freshman scorer will transfer to Duke. This was confirmed when Seth Curry's father Dell informed ESPN.COM that Curry was offered a scholarship from Duke following a visit and he accepted it.Curry, who averaged 20.2 points a game for the Flames this past season, will sit out the 2009-10 season and be eligible for 2010-11 as a third-year sophomore. A source close to the Blue Devils confirmed the transfer offer was made and accepted.
"Coach K kept telling him the timing couldn't be better," Dell Curry told The Associated Press. "They'll be plenty of opportunities to contribute."
Seth Curry's plan was to transfer to an ACC school and he accomplished that within his first week.
Seth Curry said the opportunity to continue his career at Duke, and get a Duke education were other major factors in the decision. Dell Curry said the family was wowed by the new Duke practice facility, which Dell said is on par with NBA facilities.
This will be big step for Seth considering the success that his family has had at small schools. Has father started at Virginia Tech, when they weren't great or respectable and his brother Stephen was the darling of the NCAA Tournament last years as well as been a two time first team All-American. Stephen is headed to a NBA career. Do you think that would have jumped off if it wasn't for the playing time he got at Davidson. You'll find out how tough it will be the first week in practice. Don't cry because this is what you asked for.

Moats hopes officer is sincere about his apology?
By: Jarred Powell

Houston texans running back Ryan Moats and his wife insist that they are ready to move on and put this incident behind them. A Dallas police officer held the player outside a hospital, while his mother in law was dying inside the hospital.
"Well, first of all I accept his apology, and I hope it's sincere -- a sincere apology," Moats said on ABC's "Good Morning America" on Monday. "I've kind of left it up to my wife because I love Jo, my mother-in-law. ... She was just like my mom.Tamishia Moats walked away from the scene of the March 18 incident to go into the hospital, even as the officer had his gun drawn. She said there was nothing officer Robert Powell could have done to persuade her to stay.
"I was thinking through my mind, 'I'm going to go into this hospital, I will be by my mom's side no matter what,' she said on the ABC morning show.
The officer, Robert Powell has been suspended with pay while and investigation takes place of the incident.

Tiger returns to winning at Bay Hill

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP)—Tiger Woods had not felt such an adrenaline rush in nine months, especially when he stood over a 12-foot birdie putt Sunday at Bay Hill with only enough sunlight remaining for one last shot.

It made Woods forget that it had been nine months since he played under so much pressure.

And then he made golf remember the magic it had been missing.

With cameras flashing in the approaching darkness, Woods delivered another rock-star moment by making a birdie on the final hole to win the Arnold Palmer Invitational by one shot and match the largest comeback in his PGA Tour career.

“It feels good to be back in contention, to feel the rush,” Woods said. “It’s been awhile, but God, it felt good.”

It sure looked that way.

Just like last year, when Woods made a 25-foot birdie on the final hole at Bay Hill to win by one, he crouched and backpedaled as the putt rolled toward the cup. But instead of slamming his cap to the ground, he gave a roundhouse fist pump and ran into the arms of caddie Steve Williams, who lifted him off the ground in celebration.

Urban coyote attacks on rise, alarming residents
By JUDITH KOHLER, Associated Press Writer Judith Kohler, Associated Press Writer Sun Mar 29, 3:42 pm ET

DENVER – A coyote ambling into a Chicago sandwich shop or taking up residence in New York's Central Park understandably creates a stir. But even here on the high plains of Colorado, where the animals are part of the landscape and figure prominently in Western lore, people are being taken aback by rising coyote encounters.

Thanks to suburban sprawl and a growth in numbers of both people and animals, a rash of coyote encounters has alarmed residents.

Wildlife officials are working to educate the public: Coyotes have always been here, they've adapted to urban landscapes and they prefer to avoid humans.

"Ninety-five percent of this problem is a human problem, and we really need to focus on that 95 percent to solve it," said Nicole Rosmarino, wildlife program director of the environmental group WildEarth Guardians.

Since December, four people in the Denver area have been nipped or bitten by coyotes. A fifth told police a coyote lunged at him.

State wildlife officers have killed seven coyotes. An eighth was killed by a sharpshooter hired by Greenwood Village, in Denver's southern suburbs.

"These are coyotes that were born and raised in the 'hood," said Liza Hunholz, an area manager with the Colorado Division of Wildlife.

Art inspired by Rihanna's assault

from blackarazzi.com

Got this off my boy's C. Jordan's site..blackarazzi.com.
Rihanna's beatdown by Chris Brown not only caused headlines, now it's inspiring art. L.A.-based pop artist Sham's new portrait of the "Disturbia" hitmaker is based on the now infamous police photo showing the singer bruised and bloodied.

But Sham's intent is not to raise awareness about, let's say, domestic violence. Instead, his reasons for creating the Andy Warhol-like piece—which is featured in the World of Wonder Storefront Gallery's new group show, Name That 'Toon, opening tonight in Hollywood—are quite simple… "I thought the bruises in the police photo were interesting shapes to draw," he says. "And it was cool to color them pink and blue. Those are two of my favorite colors."

Fargo flood is a disaster

Fargo Neighborhood Evacuated as Waters Rise
By MONICA DAVEY

FARGO, N.D. — Along the banks of this city, the Red River surpassed its highest level in history Friday morning, forcing the emergency evacuation of one neighborhood before dawn and leading city leaders here, once cheerfully upbeat, to sound far more dire.

“We do not want to give up yet,” Mayor Dennis Walaker of Fargo said after receiving yet another piece of gruesome news. Forecasters now believe the Red River will go right on rising, and by Saturday overtake the record set here more than a century ago by two feet or even more, much higher than anyone here had earlier believed possible.

“We want to go down swinging — if we go down,” the mayor said, as he urged his city to summon the energy to build the dikes that protect it yet another foot higher by Friday night.

“I’m going to be devastated if we lose,” said Mr. Walaker, who had, only a few days ago, expressed optimism, even certainty, that Fargo, a city of 90,000 and North Dakota’s most populous, would be fine. Other bleary-eyed city officials described the mood of the place by Friday afternoon as “on high alert now.” By Friday morning, some hospitals here had transferred patients to other facilities miles away, and nursing homes had sent residents to relatives’ homes on high ground. Major roads here were closed, to allow trucks carrying more loads of sandbags to reach levees as fast as possible.

$150M buys you late TV producer's L.A. mansion
By ALEX VEIGA, AP Real Estate Writer Alex Veiga, Ap Real Estate Writer Fri Mar 27, 12:34 am ET

LOS ANGELES – The widow of producer Aaron Spelling is placing "The Manor" in the exclusive Holmby Hills neighborhood on the market for a jaw-dropping $150 million, making it by far the most expensive home for sale in the U.S.

The French chateau-style mansion has 56,500 square feet of space on more than 4.6 acres and is the largest home in Los Angeles County. Among the neighbors are the Los Angeles Country Club and, not too far away, the Playboy Mansion.

Spelling's late husband produced hit shows such as "Charlie's Angels," "Dynasty" and "Beverly Hills 90210." He died in 2006.

"Everything there is glamorous, and is luxurious and it's really great scale," said Sally Forster Jones, an agent with Coldwell Banker Previews International in Los Angeles, which is co-listing the property. "There really is nothing to compare it to."

Spelling told The Associated Press that she let her dog Madison, a soft-coated Wheaten Terrier, help pick out the best real estate agent for the task. She had her security bring the dog into the room every time she met one of the candidate agents and watched how the dog reacted. If Madison didn't like them, Spelling crossed them off the list.
